Meeting called to order at _7:05 pm
Attendees: Phyllis Woodring, Sheryl Patterson, Jo Murphy, Paul O’Mara, Patricia Onufrak, Maskey Krishnarao, Kent Billmyer, and Ty Hughes, Steve Ingalls, Rachel Herman, Jerry Long and Wilbert Nixon.
Absent: Kathy Emmons, Gladys Henrikson, and Heidi O’Hara (Leave of Absence).
Visitors: 7 E-mail proxy request to secretary before meeting. Proxies: Jo Murphy for Kathy.
Sheryl in the absence of Phyllis welcomed the new & returning visitors, & explained the club’s purpose.

OLD & NEW BUSINESS:
· GoToMeeting: Next MicNOVA GoToMeeting scheduled for Thursday November 09 at 8:15 pm.
· Post quarterly report, updated SSG, Value Line and other pertinent data a week before to club portfolio folder in BIVIO. Send email with attachments (incl ITK, PDF and SSG)
· Old Business: Need all partners to sign new partnership signature page. See Sheryl.
· Education: Sheryl - location of education listing/links from BetterInvesting Ticker Talk Archives for members to use as their monthly education presentation signup.
· Stock Research: Phyllis presented Skyworks solutions. Sheryl presented LRCX Semiconductor Company and revisited – ULTA.
· Portfolio Review
TY presented Portfolio Review using BIVIO and Better Investing.
· New Business:
· Starting in January 2018, MicNOVA will move back to the Tysons-Pimmit library, Falls Church and will meet on the second Wednesday of the month. Meeting time will remain from 7 to 8:30pm. Feb 2018 will be an online meeting.
· Motions:
Steve made a motion to buy ULTA 20 shares, seconded by Maskey. 4 for and 10 against. Motion failed.
