This product has been selected and certified as the replacement product for the RocketPort serial expansion card that has gone End of Life (EOL). The Axxon MAP/950 4 Port PCI Board provides two and four additional serial ports, all the features of the previous RocketPort Board, as well as, compliance with both full height and low profile workstation configurations.

Lease Guidelines

The Axxon Serial Board provides 4 additional serial ports for Agency offices that have two (2) PCs or less and require more than 2 serial ports for printer connectivity.

Lease Rules:

The rule for an Axxon Serial Board lease is that it should be leased only when the agency has more devices (printers, modems, etc.) than available serial ports. Older model PCs come with two (2) serial ports while newer models come with only one (1) serial port.

Examples:

·  If an agency has two (2) or more PCs and only two printers and no other devices then the Axxon Serial Board is not applicable.

·  If an agency has less than two (2) PCs and three (3) printers then the Axxon Serial board is applicable.

Please Note:

In our continuing efforts to reduce costs and monitor savings; the lease of the Axxon Serial Board will be monitored through QC for compliance.
