Mary Anne Buchheit, 72, of Silverton, died Sept. 2, 2003, at home. She married Francis Joseph Buchheit on June 30, 1951. He preceded her in death in June 1983. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas, in June 1974.
She was active in Legion of Mary for 50 years, Catholic Order of Forresters and teaching Religious Education at St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons Edward of Kent Wash., Michael of Renton, Wash., Marion of Milton, Fla., Vincent of Silverton, Paul of Corvallis, Ore., Mathew of Silverton, Patrick of Prineville, Richard of Salem; daughters Katherine Buchheit of South Bend, Ind., Rosemary Judge of Canby, Marguerite Baker of Canby, Louise Doino of Wall, N.J., Christine Reynoso of Woodburn, Joyce Crocker of Everett, Wash., and Annette Buchheit of Silverton. She is also survived by her sisters Therese Brundridge of Scotts Mills, Joan Heidt of Lebanon, and her brother Phillip Keagbine of Mulino.

A vigil is set for Friday, 6:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Silverton. A funeral Mass is Saturday, 10 a.m. also at St. Paul’s. Interment will be at St. Paul’s Cemetary.
