Short Description of the Organization/ Department / The National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia (INAT) ( is a high school of agronomic engineer, which currently has 1400 students enrolled, including 700 students enrolled in the engineering cycle and 700 students enrolled between Master and PhD. The National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia is specialized in various fields of agriculture as animal production, crop production, plant protection, agro-food, rural engineering, hydraulic and forestry, desertification, fisheries, and rural economy. INAT is home to six research laboratories working on priority themes that provide solutions to the agro-ecology and agribusiness sectors, considered as the two pillars of Tunisian agriculture. It hosts also a Doctoral School, which supports different masters and PhD degrees. The National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia is authorized to issue Master's degrees in: *Pests and Plant Health, *Valorization and Innovation of Agro-Food, *Food Resources, Health and Naturalness, *Operation and Management of Aquatic Ecosystems, *Animal Biotechnology, *Natural Ecosystems Management and Valorization of their Resources, *Aridoculture and Desertification fight, *Biotechnological Valorization of Marine Resources, *Sustainable Management of Water Resources. The National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia is authorized to issue PhD degrees on: animal production, crop production, plant protection, agro-food, rural engineering, hydraulic and forestry, desertification, fisheries, and rural economy. We already have collaborations in co-supervision and delivery of a double doctorate degrees with different universities from Belgium, France, Italy, Spain (etc). We seek to expand our collaboration with other countries for double or multiple doctorate degrees and to strengthen our links with our usual partners by developing transferable skills as the effect of the global warming, fight against desertification, biological control against invasive species, desalination of water, biodiversity and environment, natural and cultivated ecosystems, and all sectors and fields of agriculture.
