  • Open to ALL (including Pony Clubs, Riding Clubs, Schools)

Entry Fees :

£44 per team – 3 or 4 riders (best 3 scores to count)

£11 per individual

A horse/pony combination may compete once in each class, and again in thefollowingclass.

A horse/pony combination may not compete in more than 2 classes.

A rider may compete more than once in a class on another horse/pony.

ALL TEAM COMPETITORS AUTOMATICALLYCOMPETE FOR BOTH TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL PRIZES.

Class 1 Nursey Novice teams and Individuals (55cm): Horse or Pony/rider combination not to have been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any show jumping competition at 70cm or over.

Class 2 Novice teams and Individuals (70cm):Horse or Pony/rider combination not to have been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rdin any show jumping competition at 85cm or over.

Class 3 Intermediate teams and Individuals (85cm): Open to all.

Class 4 Open teams and Individuals (1m):Open to all.

In each class, individuals compete after the teams have ridden.

All classes are “Single Phase”, after a rider jumps the first sectionthey automatically go into a second timed section, regardless of their score in the first section.

Rosettes

Rosettes will be awarded to the first 6 teams in each class.

Rosettes will be awarded 1st – 6thto the best individuals in each class.

Team trainer

All teams must be represented by a team trainer who will be responsible for the team being ready to compete. Any team changes must be declared before the start of the class.

RIDING HATS must complywith current safety standards –PAS015 or EN 1384 with kitemark. The competition is run under Pony Club Show Jumping rules. Stirrup Control System equipment (interlocking boots/stirrup treads) are NOT permitted to be worn at this event.

ENTRIES
Entries, which may be limited and are taken on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis, must be made on the official entry form and should be sent under one cover by the Team Manager or Individual rider. ENTRIES CLOSE ON Saturday 12th March. Early entry is advisable.

Cheques should be made payable to “Strathallan School” and sent to:

Entry fees will not be refunded after the closing date.

WARM UP

Ring stewards will move each team into the warm up area as soon as it is possible to do so.

Start Times

Approximate start times will be available from WEDS 16th MARCH. Please request them by emailing and they will be sent out by return.

In teams, riders will compete in the order shown on the entry form.

Legal Liability

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

The organisers of this show have taken reasonable precaution to ensure Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be affective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.

Acafé isavailable at theHighfield at Howe Equestrian Centre.

Medical Cover

Medical cover will be provided.

Prizegiving

A Prize giving will take place in the main arena after each class has finished. It will be “unmounted”.

Photographer

A professional photographer, Sinclair Photography, will be taking photos throughout the event.

Stabling

Stabling is available at Highfield at Howe Equestrian Centre for the Saturday or Sunday night. Please contact Tom Myles if you are interested in booking a stable.
