COURSE SYLLABUS
Course Objective:
We’ll learn about the history of Sunday Suppers, gaining inspiration and ideas for throwing our own Sunday Suppers in our homes. In the process we’re sure to learn a bit about retro cooking and vintage dinner menus.
We’ll explore ways to cook healthy, delicious food for a crowd, and budget for our dinners. Along the way we’ll share recipes that are easy to prepare ahead of time, feed a lot of people, and freeze easily. We’ll also figure out ways to avoid food waste, or ways to use up leftovers if we miscalculated and made too much food!
There is no textbook for this class, which will be pretty collaborative and rely a lot on online resources and blog posts.
