ENRESTEK is seeking field forestry technicians, arborists, graduates and students who enjoy working outdoors. ENRESTEK’s entry level restoration coordinator positions are ideal for field-oriented, professional minded individuals who enjoy working independently in a high performance environment. ENRESTEK offers an initial opportunity to communicate with private land owners to set up restoration installs as a direct result of PG&E’s Community Pipeline Safety Initiative tree removal program. There is potential for further opportunities based upon experience. In addition to the skills and responsibilities listed below, these positions require competence in vegetation identification and differentiation; use of GPS and hand held data collection devices, as well as the ability to travel frequently and work independently.

ENTRY LEVEL RESTORATION COORDINATOR SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES:

  • Manage restoration install schedule based upon multiple factors including but not limited to: the private land owner schedule, PG&E’s schedule, subcontracting companies, availability of plants from the source nursery, weather, etc.
  • Ability to create and implement a Restoration Action Plan which describes to the land owner how the site will be restored, which trees, plants, and or herbaceous grasses will be installed, their aesthetic qualities, and timeline of such actions.

RESTORATION COORDINATOR POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a degree or in the process of obtaining a degree in: Forestry, Horticulture, Natural Resources, or a similarly related field.
  • Proficient computer skills, tablet/iPad skills, ability to work computer programs and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the State of California. Be able to navigate in rural and metropolitan areas.
  • Must have basic understanding of topography and how to actively read maps while out in the field.
  • Ability to select and identify tree species including cultivars to a suitable habitat and restoration site. Individual’s would need the ability to determine the health and vitality of a planting before selection for a given restoration project.
  • Strong oral and written communication is a must. This individual will have to actively communicate with PG&E customers and subcontracting associates.
  • Excellent attention to data requirements and technical detail.
  • Valid driver license and a clean driving record.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
