PCI is actively seeking amotivated, energetic, self-starter to join the Unit Level/Unit Command & Control (UC2) Team as a System Engineer at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA.

As the Requirements Engineer, you will be responsible for requirements definition and traceability of requirements through the various supporting acquisition documentation. You will support the dynamic acquisition, operations, configuration/data management and sustainment aspects for the program. You may oversee associated contracting actions such as Engineering Change Request/Proposals (ECR/P), tracking of Contractor Data Requirements Lists (CDRL) deliverables, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements analysis for development of UC2 technical solutions.
  • Incorporate and collect specific engineering input from subject matter experts (SMEs) to guide management of sustainment engineering/upgrades and program management.
  • Provide overarching engineering perspective and guidance to program manager for identified advanced technologies, assigned program/ upgrades and / or valid decision making.
  • Provide system / subsystem engineering guidance to include web application, web design and VM platforms in support of development.
  • Provide product sustainment strategies and perspective that include technical interface coordination, and sustainment planning.
  • Evaluate with technical team to determine scope and resources required.
  • Coordinate cross-cutting engineering efforts ensuring all functional areas are engaged and in-sync.
  • Develop and maintain standard configuration architectures.
  • Review operational requirements with Lead Command.
  • Create / coordinate necessary program documentation.
  • Review/Update Systems Requirement Document

Qualifications:

  • BS degree and10 years of experience; or MS degree and8 years of experience;
  • Knowledge of FAR, DoD 5000 series, developing acq plans/metrics to assist in tracking program cost, schedule & performance.
  • Knowledge and experience with standard architectures and standard AFLCMC processes.
  • Working knowledge of Agile Development practices and able to apply these principle in program development/sustainment.
  • Self-starter who is organized/ proficient in maintaining schedules; creating and implementing processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a active USSecurity Clearance
