“Because Nobody Should Die From Dirty Teeth”

<Your City, State> – <Date>, 2015–<Your Name, RDH> a dental hygienist and resident of <Your Town> recentlybecame an independent oral care specialist withHyLife, LLC, acompany that provides compassionate oral care services to dependent elders.

<Your Last Name> joined HyLife, LLC after learning that dependent elders in nursing homes have the worst oral health compared to any sector of the U.S. population. They are losing their teeth, are at increased risk of heart attacks and strokes and are dying at alarming rates from aspiration pneumonia.

“This not only unacceptable for America’s Greatest Generation, it can be prevented with proper oral hygiene. I want to be an active part of the solution to this problem,” explains <Your Last Name>.

HyLife, LLCwas founded in 2013 by Wisconsin dental hygienist, Angie Stone, RDH, BS, who became aware of the deplorable conditions of America’s dependent elders when her 90 year old grandmother was admitted to a nursing home due her failing mobility and inability to care for herself. According to Stone, “My grandmother was admitted to the nursing home with 22 of her natural teeth. Within two years, she had 60% of her teeth extracted due to rampant tooth

decay that remained untreated.” See Angie tell her story on video.

Soon afterwards, Stone created an on-site oral care service program whereby a rapidly-growing network of dental hygienists visit nursing home clients on an average of once a week to provide a thorough brushing of natural dentition as well prosthetics such as bridges and partial dentures.

“Many nursing home residents have limited mobility and dementia which prevent them from following an adequate oral hygiene protocol, says <Your Last Name>. I provide a vital service that most nursing home caregivers don’t - Plus my hygienist’s trained eye can detectchanges that may requiretreatment from a dentist.”

As a HyLife Independent Oral Care Specialist, <Last Name> also providesher clients with a weekly supply of Xylitol-based mints/gum/oral gel, as well as toothpaste, floss and a toothbrush. Xylitol is natural sugar substitute that helps reduce bacteria-causing plaque in the mouth. “When my clients use xylitol daily, they can effectively control plaque build-up between visits– Even if they have limited mobility or cognitive impairments.” explains <Last Name>.

The average cost for a HyLife LLC client is $100 for four weekly visits per month, which is paid by the client or the client’s family. For additional information on HyLife oral care services for dependent elders, contact <Your Full Name> at <Your Phone Number or <Your email>
