OVERVIEW
This course introduces students to the world of business. Students will develop an understanding of the functions of business, including accounting, marketing, information technology, human resources, production, and of the importance of ethics and social responsibility. This course builds a foundation for further studies in business and helps students develop the business knowledge and skills they will need in their everyday lives.

Expectations:
Late Assessments and Evaluations:
Students are expected to be responsible for themselves and hand-in all evaluations and assessments in the require time frame. If a student does not hand-in their evaluation during that time frame, they are expected to complete a Late and Missed Evaluation Student Contract. Requests for extensions (due to extenuating circumstances) will only be considered after the student has completed the Request for Extension form.
This is an interactive course in which there will be opportunities for choice and challenge. Come open to learn and willing to participate! This room is one of co-operation, fun and collaboration! We hope that together we can make this an enjoyable semester!
