Day 11
Starter / Get kits from supply closet and verify that correct kit is used.
Teacher Focus
Student Focus / Complete level 1 robotics construction. Provide individualized, differentiated instruction as needed.
Evaluation / Determine the quality of construction through observation and operating level 1 robotics design. Vex=observation, testing with power on operation. Roborobo=observation, testing with power on operation and programming. This will be the first summative robotics evaluation.
Day 12
Starter / Get kits from supply closet and verify that correct kit is used.
Teacher Focus
Student Focus / Disassemble level 1 robot. Take a quick re-inventory to determine if there are any missing parts.
Day 13
Starter / Get kits from supply closet and verify that correct kit is used.
Teacher Focus
Student Focus / Design and begin building level 2 robot. This will require HOT skills and engineering/design knowledge. The group will sketch a design on paper first so they can determine viability of design. Once approved, students may begin robot construction.
