ESF Opt in opportunities – January 2016

Skills Training UK intends to bid for some opportunities within both Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) across a number of LEPs.

The SFA tenders have now started to be released - potential partners can formally express interest and identify areas of interest, both geographically and also in which areas of delivery.

We are expecting rounds in:

A)Youth (already released)

B)Programmes for the Unemployed

C)Skills Support in the Workplace

The DWP opt in tenders have also started to be released but only Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire are out to date

This form is designed to enable us to shortlist organisations for specific tenders and then request further information as required.

3.EXPERIENCE

There are recurring themes for all of the provision that will be tendered even though both the SFA and DWP opt in tenders are still to be released. Please use the box below to summarise your experience in any of these themes that you wish to be considered as a delivery partner for – themes will include Programmes for the Unemployed, Skills Support in the Workplace, support of NEETsand prevention of young people becoming NEET, support for those furthest from the labour market including those with mental health problems, disabilities and those from families with a history of worklessness (Troubled Families), and social enterprise. In addition themes will include sector specific and employer specific. All of these will be based around individual LEP strategies which are all available on the LEP websites (there is no maximum length to this response):
