LIBRARY REPORT-2012-13

1.TEXT- BOOKS :-

Text books of all subjects are provided to all the students.

2.LIBRARY BOOKS:-

445 Books have been added in Library for the academic year 2012- 13 & Total collection has reached to 5978.

3.NEWSPAPERS AND PERIODICALS:-

Thirteen news papers and thirty periodicals in English, Hindi, Marathi are subscribed for Library.

4.CAREER GUIDANCE:-

Career guidance shelf is maintained. Information on various careers is displayed on notice board regularly. Speeches by students on career guidance are arranged in morning assembly and guests were invited for speech on career opportunities.

In this series Mr.Rajesh Khawale (Resident Deputy Collector, Washim) has spoke on Career opportunities in Public Servises.

1. BOOK REVIEW:-

Book reviews are written by students. ‘BOOK TALK’ by students on National book week & in morning assembly is arranged in regular basis.

6.QUIZ :-

Quiz in morning assembly were arranged daily. Mega Quizzes were also arranged occasionally.

7.GUESTS SPEECHES:-

Guests are invited on various occasions like National Book Week, Career Guidance, etc.

8.E-LIBRARY:-

E-Library section is being developed. 129 Educational CD‘s are procured and issued to Teachers for students benefit. E-Granthalaya Library Automation Software is installed & data is being entered.

9.MOBILE LIBRARY

‘ Wachan Aanand’ –a Mobile Library service is arranged for local ‘Anandwadi’ slum area. About fifty readers of Std. 2-12 are registered as Readers.
