Designed to produce high-quality printing on uncoated rigids for indoor and outdoor signsand displays

NEW ORLEANS – SGIA (booth #935 945) – October 19, 2011 –Agfa Graphics announced today thatJ-C Press of Owatonna, MN, has expanded its wide-format capabilities with the UV hybrid:Anapurna M4f from Agfa Graphics. The entry-level system is a 62” wide-format printer that provides J-C Press with high-qualityPOP displays, posters, exhibition panels, stage graphics, ad panels and more.

J-C Press first opened its doors in 1859 and has today become an award winning, G7 certified full-service commercial printer. The company decided to make its first leap into wide-format printing with the :Anapurna M4f because too much time was being spent applying adhesive-backed materials to rigid substrates. The :Anapurna can print directly to the rigid, helping J-C Press efficiently meet its customers’ expectations regarding color and durability.

“In a time when it is becoming more and more difficult to differentiate yourself in the marketplace, having a device like the :Anapurna M4f, which allows us to solve problems and offer new solutions to our customers, is critical,” said Brady Manthe, Business Development Manager, J-C Press.

The :Anapurna M4f features a print resolution of 720 x 1440 dpi and a maximum printing width of 62inches. It also features a roll-to-roll printing option, making the system even more versatile.

“The Anapurna M4f is an efficient entry level system that reduces thetime it takes to print high-quality output,” said Larry D’Amico, Vice President, Digital Imaging, Agfa Graphics,North America. “A lower volume print shop can offer customers new services centered around printing on rigid materials and be able to effectively produce them.”
