Honors Paideia Revolutions Project

Unit: Latin America

Technology used: Go! Animate, Springpad, Internet, IPADS, Microsoft Products, Email, Prezi

Resources: Internet, teacher provided links on website, textbook, and classroom resources on the book shelf

Tasks:

1) Research the Revolution and collect information using Springpad App and website – create a final spring pad notebook that collects all information for your peers. Email the link for the final Springpad to Ms. Solomon to post on the class website. Incorporate links to pictures and movies – this is your work cited as well.

2) Daily- (2) complete a Progress Report for Ms. Solomon that documents your accomplishments and needs for next class.

3) Create a final movie that is no more than 5 minutes to share with the class in Go! Animate which shares the highlights of your Revolution. If you opt to use Prezi instead you are welcome to make that choice.

4) Complete Revolution Packet and notes using the information that your peers have supplied

Topics to address in your presentation:

1) The who, what, when, where, why’s of your Revolution

Group Role Sheet – 1 participation grade

Reminders:

1) The following: .edu, .net, .org sites are usually most accurate

2) The library has NCWise Owl with links you to creditable sources

3) New technology is a learning process and we learn together as we continue to broaden our Apps and sites – perseverance is the key!

4) All members of the class and group need to participate to make this learning activity work – without a completed project your peers will be missing vital information for their notes, their packet and their test.
