Intranasal benzo[a]pyrene alters circadian blood pressure patterns and causes lung inflammation in rats

Table 1 Body, liver, and lung weight of rats administered a daily intranasal dose of vehicle control (tricaprylin, 0.2 ml/kg; n=6 rats) or benzo[a]pyrene (BaP, 0.01 mg/kg; n=6) after 7 days. Data are expressed as mean ± standard error of the mean. There were no significant differences between treatment groups after 1-way analysis of variance (body weight) or analysis of covariance (organ weights) with body weight as a covariate.
