Training on Computer-based Statistical Programme (SPSS) for Researchers of North East India
General Information
North East Centre for Research and Development (NECRD), IGNOU, will organise a training programme on Computer-based Statistical Programme (SPSS) for Researchers from 7-11February, 2011 in Guwahati.
The programme is intended for young researchers (research scholars and college/University teachers) of the North East who are/will be using Computer-based Statistical Programme in their research. Ph.D./ M.Phil. students /Research Scholars, young faculty members interested in starting their research career are particularly encouraged to apply.
The total number of participants will be restricted to 25. Participants will be selected on first come first serve basis if otherwise qualified. No fee is to be deposited at the application stage. However, candidates will have to deposit a programme fee of Rs 1,000 once they are selected.
Interested candidates are requested to e-mail the application (as per the prescribed format) on or before November 26, 2010 to . Selected candidates will be informed by the first week of December.
Candidates are required to send a recommendation letter from their supervisor or head of department along with their application. Those who require travel support should mention it in their applications, as limited travel support will be available during the programme. Participants are requested to arrange for their own accommodation.
