I.Review of minutes from 7-21-15 Meeting
II.Update on ACS Breast Cancer screening guidelines
- They have not been released – waiting for JAMA to publish them
- ACS staff will then receive notification of their release along with a conference call providing an overview and list of new ACS resources
- ACTION: Tamara will keep the group informed
III.Community Toolbox Distribution
- Review Community Toolkit Distribution Contact List
- Made a few additions
- Suggested adding local organizations for different areas – will have group help with this
- Discussed having it come from one generic email vs. individual emails
- Will have each group member be responsible for sending out to those contacts they know are who they are affiliated with (put this in last row of table)
- ACTION: Tamara to go back through and add rest of information and send back out to group to review – add physical address for postcards
- Review draft of text/graphics that group will use to send out for toolkit introduction/distribution
- Group approved infographic from Lori
- Only suggestion was to change web address to land on the community education webpage
- Will also do large format postcards to send out to contact list & have available at conferences
- Review distribution plan
- Discussed sending out from individual contacts vs. one organization contact
- Will have group members sign up to send to those organizations/individuals they know
- ACTION: Will put together draft email – Tamara
- Suggested attaching PDF of postcard from Lori as resource to use as handout
- Group review/discussion of Nebraska Breast Cancer Partnership website
- Discussed placement/organization of information – have it broken out on website, but also have a page broken out be resources
- Group review/discussion of resources for recommendation of inclusion in toolkit
