We teach an in-depth Hot Stone Massage Course also incorporating ancient energetic techniques which truly add to this deep healing and relaxing experience. Please find details of the course below:

Times: 9.00am-6.30pm
Fee: €250.00

Deposit As we only take 8 people on this course then places must be secured by paying a non-refundable deposit of €150.00 and full fees must be paid on the week of the course. Cheques or postal orders (cash can be sent but we advise that you register the letter) made out to Green Tara College and posted to Majella Fagan, ‘Green Tara’, Preston Place, 38 Trimgate Street, Navan, Co. Meath.

Please understand that if the course books out, due to the limited numbers on this course that we can only take 8 people, if you book and cancel at any time up to seven days before the course then your deposit will be non refundable unless we can fill your space with another person.

• Please print your name the way you would like it on your Certificate and enclose with your deposit.
• Arrival Time on First Day: Registration will be from 8.45am, please arrive early so we can start on time, thank you.
• Lunch: There are a wide range of cafes in Navan suitable for all tastes or you are welcome to bring along a lunch. The lunch break is one hour
• Please Bring: 2 White Bed Sheets (single bed and one fitted ), 4 Bath Sheet towels or 6 bath towels , 5 Hand Towels, 2 Tea Towels, slippers . Hair-band and hair tie, short nails, hand/baby wipes & antibacterial hand gel. We will be doing massage on the face so do bring your make-up remover or come along make up free.
• Clothing: Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring slippers for indoors. You are also welcome to wear your therapist uniform if you want to preserve your clothing
• Certificates: Certificates will be awarded on successful completion of the course, please text (0868635241) or email your name and the course you are taking as you would like it printed on the Certificates if you have not already done so, thank you.
• Previous Qualifications: If you hold a Massage Diploma with Anatomy & Physiology or Reflexology Diploma please bring a photocopy along which will be kept on file for insurance reasons.
• Directions/Parking: Please see our website. Best Value Parking: We are situated in the center of town and all the long term car parks are within 5-10mins walk. They are only €2.40 for the day otherwise parking is €1.40 per hour. Please note that we cannot interrupt class for cars to be moved. Parking is free in the evenings and all day Sunday on any Street. PLEASE USE GOOGLE PARKING NAVIGATION SYSTEM AS NAVAN IS FULL OF ONE WAY STREETS. Put in Pairc Tailteann, Brews Hill Navan for the closest €2.40 parking
• Closest Car Park: The closest parking is €4.00 for the day and is on Railway Street, just past Dess Kelly Carpets on the left and behind the old bank. The next closest is beside Navan Credit Union on Kennedy Road and is €5.00 per day.

This is a post – graduate training course. It can be taken by people who wish to learn to use Hot Stone Massage for personal use on friends or family or as a post graduate course for those who wish to practice Hot Stone Massage Professionally if you already hold a recognized body therapy.

No experience or knowledge is required in order to attend this course.

To practice professionally students must hold a recognized qualification in Anatomy & Physiology. If you do not have a previous therapy qualification you also do case studies and client care at your own pace.

The aim of this course is to train you to a very high level. By the end of this course you will have a confident, detailed and broad knowledge of Hot Stone Massage and how to carry out a complete treatment.. Holistic practitioners will be fully capable of entering the world of the Hot Stone Massage therapist with confidence and expertise.

‘We believe that with this treatment that one stroke with a stone is ten times deeper and lasts ten times longer than traditional techniques’ Mary Nelson found of La Stone Therapy.

Course Structure

The course consists of an intensive two day workshop: 9am-6.30pm

Assessment: There will be written & practical assessments on the day of the workshop.

Qualification: Green Tara College Certificate in Hot Stone Massage Students with Anatomy & Physiology can gain insurance to practice. We recommend O’Brien Finlay Dublin, you can also confirm with your own insurance company.

• Safety and temperature when handling the stones and for clients

• Energetic techniques of clearing and balancing the client’s energies

• Connecting with the stones and learning to ‘interpret’ the massage
