Our students who have completed 9th-12th grade will be serving with the World Changers organization in Panama City Beach Florida. We’ll be traveling by 11-passenger vans from FHBC on Saturday morning, June 24, and after spending Friday at the beach we will travel back to FHBC Saturday, July 1st. We encourage you and your family to carefully and prayerfully consider if God is calling you to be a part of this trip.

WHERE WILL WE BE STAYING?

We will be housed at First Baptist Church Panama City with the other groups participating in the project. Worship Gatherings, meals, showers and sleeping rooms will all take place at this lodging facility.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

We will be working in a poor neighborhood close to FBC Panama City. We can expect our work to be painting, landscaping, doors and windows. The community we will be serving is the district bordered by Hwy 98 to the North, Hwy 77 to the east, Business 98 to the south, and Jenks Ave to the west, all within a 2 mile radius of the FBC Panama City.

World Changers provides opportunities for students to understand the spiritual impact of sharing their faith. Construction ministry opens the door into a city for students to share the message of God’s grace and the gift of reconciliation in our cities.

Participants will be assigned to work crews, serving with students and adults from other participating churches. What students learn through ministry experience throughout the day will be reinforced each night through a worship gathering and church group devotions.

WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED OF ME IN ORDER TO GO ON THIS ENGAGEMENT?
