The following are policies and agreements that the applicant and all associated participants agree to abide during use of grounds:

1.Consumption of alcoholic beverages or smoking is not permitted on the grounds

2.No vehicles can be driven on the grounds

3.Any food consumed on the grounds must be monitored so no residuals are left on the grounds, and no shelled nuts are permitted at any time.

4.Users are permitted to use the parking area immediately adjoining the field, either paved or dirt areas. The dog park parking area is not considered an approved parking area.

5.Users are responsible for clean-up of all trash, dog excrement, toys or any training equipment. Any damage to HVOC’s facility or equipment is the responsibility of the permit holder.

6.Use of electrical outlets is permitted. If lights are used, they must be turned off no later than 10 PM.

7.Payment is required in advance. 50% of the rental fee is required no later than 30 days prior to the event. The remaining balance must be received no later than 2 weeks before the event. Cancellations more than 3 months prior to the event will be charged a 10% fee of the total amount. Cancellations 2 months prior will be assessed 15% of the total fee. One month prior cancellations will be charged a 20% fee of the total amount. Less than one week cancellations will receive no refund.

8.If an insurance certificate is required, a liability insurance certificate listing HVOC as an additional insured under the policy must be provided. The limits being not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence.

9.Applicant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hidden Valley Obedience Club and the City of Escondido and its officers, agents and employees from any and all liability or claim of liability, including attorney fees, arising by reason of personal injury, death or property damage which results from either HVOC’s or applicant’s negligent, reckless or intentional acts, errors or omissions.
