Stuff A Truck
Stuff A Truck is well on it’s way! Each classroom has a box to hold food items until November 18. Sometime in the morning a large truck will stop at our school to pick up all the boxes of food we have collected. All items are donated to the area food shelf. Our students enjoy collecting food and bringing it out to the truck! Please help with food donations if you are able to.
Conferences
Thank you for the tremendous turn out at conferences! I know how difficult it can be to make room for one more extra something in our lives. So, I appreciate your attention to meeting with your child’s teacher. Thank you!
Holiday Happenings/Book Fair
Each year at the beginning of December Paul Bunyan Elementary hosts a Book Fair in which you can purchase books for your children or your self! We have always had a wonderful assortment of books to choose from. We also have a Family Night called Holiday Happenings. This will be held on Thursday, December 3. There will be activities in all the classrooms and juice and cookies in the cafeteria (along with holiday music)! Watch for more information to come on these two big events!
Early Release Days
Our district has 4 Early Release Days during the school year. The first one is on Wednesday, November 18. Students will be released from school at 12:25; buses will leave our parking lot at 12:30. Early Release gives our staff additional time to go over student data to make decisions on the academic needs of our students. Future Early Release Days are: January 27, February 10, and March 9.
Quick Reminders
* If you plan to eat lunch with
your child, please call
Secretary Lori to let her
know. Her number is
333-3119.
- All of our students are
offered the District’s Grab

same as the hot breakfast
on the school menu.
- All of our students go to the playground before school; we line them up at 7:55 and they walk in class by class. When they get to the room, they are given free breakfast and then go on with their day. Often teachers are not in their rooms before 8:00 as they are preparing for the day.
- If you drop your child off at school in the morning, please drop them off at Door #2. We have paras at the door to assist. Students are to enter door #2 and then walk through the building to the playground.
- As you can see, our parking lot is very limited in space. If possible, please pick your child up at their home school at the end of the day.
* If your child has a change in
after school arrangements,
please call Secretary Lori to
to let her know. She will
make sure your child’s
