My Development
Purpose: The aim of this assignment is to give students an understanding of their own growth and development through the help of their parents, and in the process of introspection. The ultimate goal is for students to analyze the complexity, responsibility, and sacrifices involved in parenting, and the importance of developmental milestones.
Objectives: Students will use and apply psychological concepts and terms to their development and parenting. Students will assess child development and parenting, then articulate what they think are the integral milestones/factors involved in both. They will support their opinions. In their evaluationthe students will hypothesize the potential effects of reaching these milestones and failing to reach these milestones.
