March 10, 2015

Dear Parents,

The Good Shepherd Day School is once again opening our doors for the summer. We will soon be ready to shed our winter coats and enjoy the great outdoors. Due to the making up of our snow days, we will be open for 7 weeks starting on June 15, 2015 and ending on July 31, 2015. Some of your child’s favorite staff members will be here to lend a hand toward a fun and activity-filled summer.

Our doors will open at 8:00 a.m. each morning for those of you who have to be at work before 8:30. Our official day will start at 8:30 a.m. and end at11:30 or 1:00 p.m. You may choose the hours each day that you want your child to attend. You will also need to choose at least 5 days throughout the summer. There will be a 4-day week June 29- July 2, when school will be closed to celebrate the birthday of our nation. Please note that incoming 2 year olds may not attend, and incoming 3 year olds must be potty trained. This year, currently enrolled and incoming families will be given priority until April 15. After that date, applications from outside the school will be considered. You will want to respond soon, as space is limited.

There is an $85 registration fee that covers supplies and will include a camp tee shirt. This is due with your registration. Just indicate on the attached registration when you want your child to be here, and we will go from there. We have some fun activities planned for your child!

We will be billing in advance, in monthly payments. Your first bill will come to you with your camp confirmation, and subsequent bills will be in monthly increments, so be sure that you sign up for what you want and will use. If your child is sick and cannot attend a day, we will substitute a day, as space is available.

We always have a good time during summer camp, and this year will be no exception. Hope to see you and your child there.
