For the second part of your request please find attached relevant correspondence. Some information has been redacted because it is subject to an exemption under section 40(2) of the FOI Act. Section 40(2) has been applied to withhold individuals’ home address details as well as notes of a personal, rather than work-related, nature. Disclosure of this information would contravene the first principle of the Data Protection Act 1998, which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. In this case, disclosure would be unfair as the individuals concerned have a legitimate expectation that their home address and personal notes written in a private capacity will not be made public.
