What should I wear to the conference?
The dress for PAE is business casual. Remember to wear comfortable shoes, since you’ll be spending time on your feet in the Marketplace. Also, as most arts venue operators know, keeping the temperature comfortable in a large venue for hundreds of people is a challenge; we always recommend that you bring a sweater!

What will the weather be like?
Baltimore in late September is usually a comfortable temperature, ranging from highs in the upper 70s to lows around 60°F. Bring an umbrella just in case!Baltimore 10 day forecast.

  • Keep tablets and laptops in a secure place.
  • Jackets with pockets provide a convenient and more secure alternative to handbags

Where can I find internet access?
Free WiFi is available in your hotel rooms at the Hyatt and the Days Inn. PAE also offers a complimentary Cyber Café outside the Marketplace, where you can use one of our provided internet connected computers and printers. The Baltimore Convention Center has free WiFi in all lobbies.

Cell phone/online reception may become spotty in the marketplace. Therefore, we are providing a WiFi password to Exhibitors on site. Please help us keep costs down by only using this network and password if you require a constant internet connection for your booth. We recommend Exhibitors download any videos/demonstrations locally to their computer/tablets instead of relying on external connections.

Presenter Reminders

South Arts has accommodated your requests to end the day early and get Presenters home to their theaters and families before the weekend, so please do the Exhibitors the kind favor of staying through the close of the event at Noon. Join us for Brunch in the Marketplace on Thursday and then we suggest using the Thursday Marketplace hours as a time to explore new companies and talk to new people.

Exhibitor Reminders

We sent a separate email to Exhibitors individually, but just in case you missed it, here are some reminders: Exhibitors are expected to stay until Noon on Thursday unless you have written approval from Conference Management to break down early. The Baltimore Convention Center is a union house. This may affect booth setup for some of you. For all the details, read the explanation of union jurisdiction.

Happy and Safe Travels! We’ll see you in Charm City on Monday!
