Monologues: Monologues in verse form are required for your audition, and should be approximately one minute in length. The director encourages the use of monologues by Christopher Marlowe, Ben Johnson, Byron, Shelley, Browning, Tennysson, Euripides or Sophocles. Shakespearean monologues are acceptable, as well. For links to some great examples, please visit and search by author, or for a list of options.

Conflicts: Please be sure to indicate all potential conflicts on the calendar on the Audition Sheet. Every attempt will be made to accommodate conflicts, but once the schedule is set, it is very hard to adjust it. If you do not have your calendar available at auditions, you may email with additional conflict information.

Audition Format:Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time with your audition forms filled out. You will be called into the hall to perform your monologue, then the director will then assign you sides for cold readings. You will have a few minutes to look over the sides before being called to perform them. Every attempt will be made to let you read for parts of specific interest, as noted on your audition sheet. We understand that auditions are nerve-wracking -- we want you to relax, have fun, and have every opportunity to show us what you can do.

Callbacks:If necessary, callbacks will occur on Thursday, December 2nd. You will be notified by Wednesday evening, December 1st, if you are being called back. Actors who are not called back will not receive any notification until final casting decisions are made. The Director may choose to cast actors who do not receive callbacks.

Casting: We will notify you via email unless you indicate otherwise on your audition form. You may be offered a role for which you did not read, so if you have strong preferences for roles that you would not accept, please note that on your audition form.

If you have not heard from us regarding casting by Saturday, December 4th, please email the Director at

Crew: If you would like to join the technical crew and/or support staff, please make note of that on your audition form.
