We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support our growth organization’s hiring needs. As a Recruiter for The Geneva Foundation you would be is responsible for managing the recruitment process from beginning to end to include: collaborating with managers to identify hiring needs, creating job postings, screening applicants, scheduling/assisting with job offers and preparing new hire paperwork. Additionally this position collaborates with corporate and field personnel to continually improve the recruitment, retention and employee satisfaction practices of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2-4 years’ experience recruiting or related experience required
  • 2-4 years’ non-profit, research, or healthcare experience desired
  • Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication
  • Proven experience relating to and working with individuals at all levels inside and outside the organization
  • Experience working successfully in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment
  • Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess a positive, friendly and professional demeanor
  • Must be flexible with changing priorities and able to communicate in a diplomatic and professional manner
  • Computer skills including at least intermediate level experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office Software. Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the recruitment process to include meeting with hiring managers to identify positions, create job postings, screen all applicants, interview candidates in-person or via telephone, recommend candidates to hiring manager, assist in making job offers, compile and send paperwork to new hires
  • Partners with Department Managers to develop and approve departmental and site job descriptions
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for all recruiting candidate calls
  • Collaborates with hiring managers and supervisors regarding recruitment-related questions, processes, and compliance
  • Conducts wage and salary surveys; shares information appropriately
  • Verifies references, education, and work experience
  • Posts positions, candidate information and hiring status details in the HRIS database
  • Provides recommendations for change and new programs/processes according to feedback received and subjective assessments
  • Collaborates in the development of short and long range operating objectives, organization structure and staffing requirements
  • Collaborates and coordinates efforts with recruiting firm(s) as needed to meeting aggressive hiring timelines and provide superior customer service
  • Aids in the coordination and facilitation of employee training, as needed
  • Maintains an effective level of knowledge and understanding of the industry and Geneva’s activities, culture and competition
