FINAL 8 CHAMPIONSHIPS OPENS BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL 2016
Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th June

TIMING OF GAMES
Round robin, semis and minor playoffs:
- 4 x 8 minute quarters fully timed. Otherwise as per FIBA rules, including 24” shot clock.
- On Day 2 games for Minor Playoffs will be 4 x10 minute quarters running clock. Clock stopsfor timeouts. Clock stops for all whistles in the last minute of play in 4th quarter.
- Intervals 2 minute duration. Half Time breaks 3 minutes duration.
Finals:
- Finals will be fully timed 4 x 10 minute quarters as per FIBA rules.
- Intervals 3 minute duration. Half Time breaks 5 minute duration.
DAY 1:
Girls play at 8.15, then 10.45 and 1.15.
Boys play at 9.30, then 12.00 and 2.30.
Last games finish 3.45 pm - Teams then designated positions 1 – 4 within pool.
