Brian is notable for his role in developing the original round of provincial FRPA implementation training, and for his significant contribution to the Administration Guide to Forest Stewardship Plans document.

The target audience for these sessions are government agency and forest tenure holder/BCTS staff responsible for FSP administration. These sessions will be of interest to FSP preparers, reviewers, statutory decision makers and staff responsible for implementing and administering FSP’s.

Participant reading materials will be provided during each session to help guide the discussion. Once the sessions have been finalised an electronic copy of this reading material will be forwarded to participants. Participants are encouraged to review this material prior to attending the training.

Coffee/tea service (afternoon of Day 1 and morning of Day 2) will be provided during each session. For the Campbell River session, the Sequoia Spring Golf Course has offered to make available to participants a soup & sandwich combination for $15 per person (including tax) each day if pre-ordered. A lunch request must be placed with your registration application (see below) for the Campbell River session. The cost for lunch remains the responsibility of participants. For the Richmond session, no lunch arrangements have been made. The Executive Airport Plaza Hotel has restaurant and is located within short walking distance to several different lunch venues.

These sessions are being offered at no charge, however pre-registration will be required. We are striving for a mix of government agency and forest tenure holder/BCTS staff to facilitate healthy discussion.
