The SID provides a shared terminology and supplemental information for the entire CRCD Management System.

This is the initial draft of the SID as submitted in the FCP Package.

3.  Glossary

  1. Time Card: An artifact that tracks the times when a specific employee clocks in/out over the course of a week.
  2. Hand Punch: Biometric tracking device that reads in employee palm prints and registers a clock in/out event.
  3. ADP: Payroll processing provider for CRCD.
  4. CRCD: Coalition for Responsible Community Development (the client organization).
  5. Employee: The people that work for CRCD and are paid hourly.
  6. Manager: Salaried employees in a supervisor role. Managers will be the primary users of the CRCD Management system. Managers will be the ones who process inventory check-ins and inventory check-outs for the employees they supervise. Managers will also be the ones approving and editing time cards for the employees they supervise.
  7. Payroll Administrator: The staff member at CRCD who is responsible for submitting time cards to ADP
  8. Inventory Administrator: The staff member who adds, removes and edits inventory items.
  9. Time Sheet Administrator: The staff member who adds, deletes and updates users as well as adding, deleting and updating roles
  10. Inventory: Paint, trucks and tools.
  11. CMS: CRCD Management System.
