Event Orders “McCoy Field Day”
McCoy Elementary School – Friday, 12 May 2017
Mission: Liberty Battalion will provide support for McCoy Elementary School’s Field Day to insure it is conducted in a safe, secure, and fun environment. Field Day is an end of year celebration of fun and games for students. Cadets will assist teachers and other volunteers in set up; clean up, coordinating activity and in helping children find the nurse, their class, and rest rooms, etc. Cadets will be briefed on station procedures to effectively chaperone activity, clarify rules/expectations and will cheer children on to encourage them to have fun.
Reporting Time: 8:15 AM at McCoy Elementary School
Estimated Time of completion: 2:45 PM
Transportation: Student must provide their own transportation to report to the event. GISD bus transportation will be provided back to Georgetown and East View High Schools.
Location of Event: 401 Bellaire Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628
Food: Eat a good breakfast prior to the event. Lunch will be provided.
Uniform and Equipment: Pants/ shorts with an NJROTC logo shirt. Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended. Dress appropriate for the weather in case rain or cooler weather is forecasted.

Acceptance of Orders (McCoy Field Day 17)
I, Cadet ______acknowledge that I have been approved for participation in the above event and that I have been issued the event orders based upon my verbal commitment. I recognize that it is my responsibility to activate these orders by returning them signed no later than 3 days after receipt to confirm review and consent by a parent or guardian. I understand the instruction and direction provided above for the orderly and proper execution of this mission. In addition, I promise to conduct myself in a manner consistent with the Navy’s core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment and to obey all GISD rules and applicable laws. Finally, I understand that if for any reason it becomes necessary to cancel my commitment, I must do so in writing at least 24 hours in advance and that failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
