Elective Photo Competition - 2015
By entering into the Elective Photo Competition you are agreeing to adhere to the following terms and conditions:
· One entry only per person.
· You can include up to three photographs in one entry. Photographs should be original and entirely your own work, must not contain any material which is in any way defamatory, obscene, unlawful, harmful, offensive or inappropriate or which infringes the rights of a third party, and be fitting for Dental Protection as a professional organisation to publish
· You must be a current dental student in either the UK or Ireland.
· You are a student dental member of Dental Protection.
· Entries will only be accepted via the Dental Protection website, and should be submitted with [a description of what’s going on in the photo, your name, address,Dental Protection membership number, telephone number, dental school, year of study, and why the photo captures what was key to your elective].
· Entries must be received by midnight on 30th October 2015.
· Three winners will be selected by the Dental Protection judges and notified by 20th November 2015.
· We have the right to publish your entry along with your name and dental school on the Dental Protection website and social media platforms, or in any other Dental Protection publication or media.
· You confirm that anyone shown in your photo(s) has consented to being photographed, to the photo to be submitted and used for the purposes of the competition, and to any subsequent publication of the photo by Dental Protection.
· We accept no responsibility or liability for lost or invalid entries.
· Only one prize can be won per photograph.
· Submitted entries will be judged at Dental Protection’s absolute discretion on originality, interest and creativity. Dental Protection’s decision as to the competition’s winners is final.
· Dental Protection may cancel or end this competition at any time.
· These terms & conditions are subject to English law and any dispute arising shall be decided exclusively by the English courts.
One winner will be selected and awarded £300 cash. Four runners up will also be selected and each will be awarded a £50 canvas photo voucher.
