PAVEK HALL GOVERNMENT
EXECUTIVEBOARD ELECTIONS
We are having elections for students that will be living in Pavek for the 2010-2011 Academic Year. Three of our positions will be available for election this spring including: President, Treasurer, and Secretary. All other positions will be elected this fall. Pavek’s Hall Government Executive Board is comprised of several positions including:
- President
- Vice President
- Treasure
- Secretary
- Dining Services Representative
- Programming Representative
- RHA Representative
The following are the positions that will be elected this spring. The position descriptions are taken directly from the Pavek Hall Constitution.
President
- Preside at meeting of the Hall Government and Executive Board
- Represent the hall at all functions which require representation
- Put into effect all mandates passed by the Pavek Hall government
- Have authority to appoint committee
- Coordinate all activities of Hall Government
- Set Agenda for Hall Government meeting
- Act as co-chair of hall elections
- Act as a permanent Affiliate Member of RHA, per discussion with the Vice President
Treasurer
- Handle all financial matters of the Pavek Hall Government which include but are not limited to: hall dues, budgets, and requests for payment
- Report on finances at the Hall Government meetings
- Prepare the yearly budget and submit to audits as required by University regulations.
Secretary:
1)File reports submitted by committee chair(s) concerning hall activities.
2) Take care of all necessary correspondence.
3) Keep a roll of members.
4) Post a copy of meeting minutes on the hall bulletin board and give a copy to the Hall Director no later than three (3) days following any meeting.
5) Send a copy of meeting minutes to all Hall Government members, Pavek Hall Resident Assistants, any Pavek Hall Adopted Faculty/Staff members, the Pavek Hall Director, and any other interested parties wishing to receive minutes via e-mail no later than three (3) days following any meeting.

- Executive Board meeting once a week
- Pavek Hall Government meeting once a week
- Other weekly meeting as listed in duties of executive board (applies to President and Treasurer only)
