Background
· Attendance limited to 1-2 key staff per agency, tribe, university, etc. involved in fisheries research and management in the Klamath Basin.
· FWS will email partial list of data needs/threats for Day 2 participants to complete.
· Day 2 participants asked to rank list, write-in additional data needs/threats, and identify fish health related studies planned for 2006.
· Completed surveys should be emailed to Jim Simondet (NOAA Fisheries) who will collate prior to the workshop. ( )

· Present results of data needs/threats survey.
· Discuss results of data needs survey, incorporate write-ins and reprioritize.
2. Fish Health Studies Scheduled for 2006
· Present monitoring efforts scheduled for 2006 (collated list will be provided).
· Discuss priorities & funding strategies for 2006.
3. 2007 – 2010 Fishery and Fish Health Priorities in the Klamath River
· Identify high-priority, long-term data needs and studies.
· Estimate funding needs for specific studies.
à internal = $0 new funds, what can be done.
à external request for 10-yr program.
à discuss funding sources – strategy for request(s).
4. Action items
· Agree on short list of needs and costs.
· Create brief document to share with Interior/other entities communicate goals, priorities, and required funding.
· Set date for follow-up meeting/conference call to discuss progress.

· Need to apply for Section 10 permits well in advance.
