SPECIALTY TRAINING PROGRAMME IN NEUROLOGY AND CLINICAL NEUROPHYSIOLOGY

The normal duration for this programme, based on the curricula, is 7.5years but is subject to change dependent on individual trainee circumstance.
Applications are invited for this post that offers a unique opportunity for seamless specialty training leading to a dual CCT in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology in the Oxford Deanery to commence as soon as possible. Clinical Neurophysiology training is delivered from the JohnRadcliffeHospital, Oxford. The Neurology training programme also centred at the John Radcliffe hospital, but may rotate to a number of different Trusts across the Oxford Deanery and trainees may find themselves at any of the following locations during the programme:

The anticipated rotation date frequency for this programme is 4-6 months.
The posts on this rotation have been approved for Specialist Training by the Royal College of Physicians. The postattractsa National Training Number and provides training towards a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in both Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology.

Pay scales
All trainees should be paid monthly at the rates set out in the national terms and conditions of service for hospital medical and dental staff and doctors in public health medicine and the community health service (England and Wales), “the TCS”, as amended from time to time. The payscales are reviewed annually. Part-time posts will be paid prorata. Current rates of pay for junior doctors may be viewed on the NHS Employers website.
