Aaron Edwards(1984~2011) was a 2003 Southmont High School graduate who began his HVAC career as a high school junior by enrolling in the Heating & Air Conditioning Career and Technical courses at Crawfordsville High School. After high school, Aaron furthered his studies at Ivy Tech before landing a job at an HVAC service company. He began as an entry level technician and quickly advanced to one of the most respected technicians within the company. This scholarship was created to commemorate Aaron’s dedication to his education and his commitment to the HVAC trade with expectations that it will assist someone striving to succeed as Aaron once did. This scholarship will be awarded to those seeking a career in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or any other related building trade. It will be rewarded as either a supplement to tuition, educational related expenses, or job related expenses such as tools or equipment.
