Keep a Research Notebook/Engineering Design Log. / Propose a community service project that meets a real need in the Wheeler or other community of which you are part.

Write an APA format research paper for publication in the peer-reviewed Wheeler Research journal, draft due early-mid Dec and final during finals week. Optional: informally present to class during finals. / Participate in Pilot Day with Georgia Tech faculty live in early to mid Dec (from our classroom). Participate in Wheeler Inventure and
progress to GT Inventure if a winner. / Present a Wheeler TEDX Talk to the class during finals week.
Enter the Georgia Science Fair. / Present at STEAM Symposium, April 12, 2017, and write and abstract for publication following the Abstract Guidelines. / Find and propose another competition in which to enter your project. Note this must be approved at the time you submit your project proposal.

1.  You may choose to work alone or in groups of 2-3.

2.  This form is due back no later than Monday, October 13, 2016.

3.  Proposals are due Monday, October 20, 2016.

4.  We will have class project days and partial days, and you should make this your go-to if you finish classwork only.

5.  This project will be your final examination grade. You will also receive grades at different stages: proposal, progress, and for the product in row 2.
