Magical, mystical, enchanting: Wool – Sheepvention Fashion Parade 2015.
The Australasian Young Designer Wool Awards, Fashion Parade and Presentations will take place on Sunday 2nd August. The amazing designs will be showcased in a magical evening which will feature a grand illusionist. Patrons will enjoy a cocktail style event from 5:15pm followed by the parade and performances.
“This year we are changing the ACE Radio Discover Wool Fashion Parades to an exciting new format. The Sunday night launch will be an exclusive performance which won’t be repeated during Sheepvention.” said Sheepvention Events Manager, Peta Anderson. “…people will only have ONE chance to see the young designer garments and this quality performance.”
We are anticipating a high level of entries across all categories from fantasy to race wear. Previous parades have impressed with avant-garde and fresh new looks.
Following on from this magical Sunday night, Sheepvention ACE Radio Discover Wool Fashion Parades will be a high impact fashion extravaganza, showcasing a selection of top Australian designers. This year we will also parade some garments which will be on sale at Sheepvention such as Wendy Voon and The Ark’s Nikel and Sole.
Tuesday afternoon will be an exclusive High Tea event where patrons will sit around the runway enjoying Fiona Wall High Tea canapés and sweets. This will be an intimate afternoon with designs from Country Road, Alex Perry, MJ Bale, Sportscraft, Sass and Bide, and more.
Tickets will be available from July 13 at ACE Radio in Brown Street or the Hamilton Showgrounds Office and a limited number will be available online. Tickets for Sunday evening are $25. Prices for Tuesday’s High Tea event are as follows: $40 (including Sheepvention entry), $25 (without Sheepvention entry), or $20 for Members.
