Roma Contract
Menu Selection. Final menu selection will be needed four (4) weeks prior to your event. All food items must be supplied and prepared by the Roma Restaurant.
Prices.All prices are subject to change without notice. Following the execution of this agreement the Patron agrees to pay such increase. Prices may be confirmed 30 days prior to the event.
Guarantees. A guarantee of the exact number of guests for all functions is required Twenty one (21) business days prior to a function, otherwise, the highest estimated number will be used as a guarantee. Final guarantee is not subject to reduction.
Payment. Payment must be made in full fourteen (14) days prior to the event in the form of certified check, money order or cash only. Payment for an open bar or additional meals will be collected by the Banquet Manager two hours before the close of the event.
Room Fee. A room fee of $400.00 will be charged for the Grand Ball Room. A room fee of $200.00 will be charged for the Riverside Room or the Middlesex Room.
Administrative & Service Charges. All Menus are subject to a 20% Administrative Fee and 7% sales tax.
Administrative Fee is not solely a gratuity and is not directly distributed in its entirety to employees who service your event.
Deposit. A non-refundable non-transferable deposit of $700 is required to guarantee Grand Ball Room and a $300 deposit is required for Middlesex room or Riverside room. All deposits will be applied to your final bill.
Displays/Decorations. All displays and or decorations must be pre-approved by the Banquet Manager in each instance. The Roma will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors, light fixtures, or ceilings of any room. Rice, confetti, or birdseed are not allowed in the building or on the grounds.
Conduct of Event. In compliance with applicable laws and regulations the client assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all persons in attendance and for any damage done to any part of the Roma during the time the premises are under control of the client.
Beverage Policy. The Roma Restaurant holds a license granted by the Massachusetts State Liquor Commission and is held responsible for complying with its regulations. Our policy is, all alcoholic beverages must be supplied by the Roma Banquet Hall. The Roma reserves the right to limit and control the amount of alcoholic beverages consumed by our guests. No alcoholic beverages shall leave the Roma.
Minimums/Policy. •Minimum requirements and room charges exist. •The Roma reserves the right to charge a labor charge for extraordinary requirement and requests. •Prices are based on 75 or more guests per function. •Tables are set for ten (10) people. •There is a $5.00 per table Clean up fee if table confetti is used. •The Roma will not be responsible for any articles left prior to, during, or after the event. •Under no circumstances will the booking be valid without the Roma deposit. •The Roma’s Ballroom Hours are: Mon-Sat, 12 noon to 5 P.M. and 7 P.M. to 12 Midnight. Sunday Hours vary according to customer’s needs.
