Bible Studies:

·  Women Growing Together: Sundays, 9:10am

o  Study beginning August 23: World Religions, From a Christian Perspective – a new Bible study that explores the basic tenets of five of the world’s major religions, all from a Christian perspective. (Islam, Mormonism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Popular Spirituality). For each of the five, you’ll discover the history, the beliefs, and how those beliefs line up with God’s truth. When you complete this study, you will find your own faith in Christ deepened and strengthened, and you’ll be encouraged as you realize - again – that God loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.

·  Tuesday Morning Bible Study: studying – “Mirror, Mirror”

o  Begins Tuesday, Sept.8,

Do you like what you see in the mirror? If you said no, you aren’t alone. Many of us just see the wrinkles or muffin top or bony elbows. We try to cover it up with makeup or just don’t look in the mirror at all. But the truth is that we don’t see ourselves the way God sees us. The lessons inMirror, Mirrorfocus on looking at ourselves as God, our Creator and Redeemer, see us. God sees us through the filter of the cross, in the reflection of His Son, with the eyes of love. This Bible study will encourage you to see yourself this way, too.

Designed as a women’s small group study,Mirror, Mirrornot only delves into the Bible, it also asks you to make personal applications to your own life. Lessons are designed to provide a comfortable place where you can gather with other women and discover who you are according to the truth of God’s Word.

·  “Children of the Day”: Study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians - By Beth Moore: Your circumstances and conditions are not coincidental in your journey. God's timing is impeccable. Join us on the Thessalonian shores as you face real crises, real medical diagnoses, real afflictions, real relationships, real doubts, real concerns, and real fears. Let's not brush the sand off quickly. Let's sit a while and let the tide come in and wash our eyes with fresh vision for 8 beautiful weeks. We don't have to always see eye-to-eye to be glad we're side by side. Let's pat the sand beside us and welcome each other along.
Gather around the letters postmarked Thessalonica. Don't let pride or timidity come between you and the presence of God. Press in tightly, professing Christ and, yes, in the company of others but also intimately by your name, circumstance, and condition. You have a place here. A purpose. And not one floating like a fleck in the air, loosed and free from your raw realities. This is your journey to the shores of Thessalonica where you'll write your name and a slice of your biography in the sand.

·  Mismatched & Thriving! – Winning Him Without Words

The book Winning Him Without Words, by Lynn Donovan & Dineen Miller, presents 10 Christ-centered keys to thriving in a spiritual mismatch. Please consider this small group study if these are part of your life:
