We are looking for educators to share research-based strategies that work in YOUR classrooms!LifeLines for Educators 2018is a FREE half- or all-day workshop sponsored byPhi Delta Kappa, Bethel University, Freed Hardeman University, Union University, University of Memphis at Lambuth, and University of TN at Martin. The sessions are intended to address the everyday needs of teachers and other school personnel.

This year’s theme is Capturing the Minds of Students. Priority will be given to sessions which relate to the conference theme.

The deadline for receiving proposals for presentations is November 7, 2017.Notification regarding acceptance of proposals to present will occur on or beforeNovember 30, 2017.Presenters will submit their handouts no later than January 16 to be posted online and available for attendees to print and bring to the workshop.

Presenters will present two consecutive sessions:

Sessions 1 & 2 (8:30-9:30 and 9:45-10:45)orSessions 3 & 4 (1:00-2:00 and 2:15-3:15)

Program Description:

Please describe your session. The description should be limited to three or four sentences.

Technology Needs:

All rooms will have a computer with projection system equipped with PowerPoint, document camera, a DVD player, and internet access. No laptops can be connected to the projection system.Presenters must bring presentations on a USB drive. Please specify any additional technology needsthat will be required for your session. (Laptop computers will not be provided.)
