Lab Safety Poster Directions

Today you will design a poster that includes one of our lab safety rules. Many of these posters will be displayed in our classroom to remind us how to use materials safely! Your teacher will assign you one of the rules from your Lab Safety Contract and you will need to do three major tasks as you create your poster:

1.  WRITE the LAB SAFETY RULE that you are assigned. You may copy straight from your Lab Safety Contract. Or, you may shorten/abbreviate your rule if appropriate.

2.  DRAW a picture or scene that shows your rule.

3.  WRITE one REASON that your rule is important.

Remember that you are making a poster, so information should be big enough to see from a distance! Your poster must be neat and in color, and all spelling and grammar should be correct.
