The presentation focuses on the challenges of measuring performance and maintaining cohesion when incident response personnel are scatter through out and organization and over different geographic areas.
Bio: Mark Yanalitis
Mr. Yanalitis has held positions in the private and public sector as a networksecurity engineer, a security consultant for KPMG Information Risk Management andDirector of Security for a large regional ISP/MSP. He currently functions as a networkengineering consultant for a national health insurance concern. His efforts have
concentrated upon threat management, Intelligence life cycle management, anddistributed computer incident response. He has presented “AIR-FRAME: Analysis-Intelligence-Reaction Framework,” at the 2001 Forum for Information Warfare. AIRFRAMEis adoptable and usable defensive information operations framework for
Private Industry.
Mr. Yanalitis is a member in good standing with the Association forComputing Machinery (ACM) and ASIS-American Society for Industrial Security. Heholds CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) designation andIAM recognition by the NSA ISSO DIOG (Information Systems Security Organization
Defense Information Operations Group). He has held various vendor certifications. Mr.Yanalitis is a graduate of the 8th Pittsburgh FBI Civilian Academy program and theDuquesne University Forensics Science and Law short program. He holds Bachelor’sand Graduate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh; He is currently pursuing aGraduate Degree in Intelligence Studies at American Military University.
