Ever want to go to a baseball game but dread dealing with the Philly or NYC traffic, paying high prices for parking, and only getting mediocre large stadium seating? Looking for something to do to get some fresh evening air after spending the day indoors with AC? Maybe you’re coming back from the shore and are not quite ready to end the weekend yet. If any of this is true for you, now’s your chance! Join us at Arm & Hammer Park in Trenton, NJ for an inexpensive outing in a relaxed atmosphere to watch the Trenton Thunder take on cross division rivals the Altoona Curve on Sunday, August 6, 2017. First pitch is at 5:00 pm. Park gates open at 4:00 pm.
The Trenton Thunder Minor League Baseball team is theDouble-Aaffiliate of the New York Yankees. The Thunder plays in the Eastern Division of theEastern League and finished in 2nd place last year. Meanwhile, the Altoona Curve, the Double-A affiliate of thePittsburgh Pirates,plays in theWestern Division of the Eastern League.This game should shake out to be a great match-up since Altoona also finished in 2nd place in their division last year! So, come on out and enjoy America’s favorite past time with your fellow Fall Liners.
TICKET PRICE - $8.00/person:Yes, you read correctly, one ticket only cost 8 bucks!!!! That’s a steal all the way to home plate!
However, we do need a minimum of 20 people to get the $8/person bargain otherwise the price increases to $12/person if we have less than 20 sign-ups, so you better hurry to get in on the fun! I’m looking to reserve seats along the first base line, so the first 20 people to sign up will get the better seats but I need to make a deposit no later than right after the May 16th mixer meeting to increase our odds of getting great seats. Again, the sooner I have 20 people signed up the sooner I can make the deposit and secure excellent seats!! Money collected is non-refundable.
Tickets are to be picked up at the Will Call Windows at the stadium. The Will Call Windows are located in front of the ballpark and are Ticket Windows #6 and #7.You will have to give the window agent your name and show your positive photo ID.
Transportation to Arm & Hammer Park is OYO but if you’re interested in carpooling contact me.
RAINOUT:
Should the game we are attending be rained out, all tickets, as a group, will be exchanged for a future game.

From Route 1 South/Northern New Jersey
Route 1 South to Route 129, South Broad St./Chambersburg exit. Take Route 129 South to the second light (Cass St.). Turn right onto Cass St. west. Go through three lights and ballpark is on the left.
From Route 295 North/Southern New Jersey
Route 295 North to Exit 60 for 195/29/129. After exiting 295 North, stay left and follow signs for Route 29 North. Continue staying left and following signs for 29 North/Capitol Complex/Lambertville. Ballpark is on left after exiting tunnel.
From New Jersey Turnpike Exit 7A
Take Interstate 195 West toward Trenton to Route 29 North. Stay left and follow signs for 29 North/Capitol Complex/ Lambertville. Ballpark is on left after exiting tunnel.
From Route 1 North/Pennsylvania
Interstate 95 North to Route 1 North (Morrisville exit). Take first exit in New Jersey (immediately after toll bridge for John Fitch Way) for Route 29. Take Route 29 South and follow signs for parking (ballpark is on right).
PARKING:
All general parking at ARM & HAMMER Park is just $5.00 per car.The parking lots are located in front of the ballpark, in the parking garage near Rho (previously KatManDu) and across Rt. 29.
AFTER THE GAME:
Let’s meet at Mastoris, the famous diner, located at 144 US Rt. 130, Bordentown, NJ (at the junction of US Routes 206 and 130), minutes from the ball park, to socialize and talk about the game we just witnessed. Let me know if you’re planning on joining us here.
LAST DAY FOR SIGN-UP IS, Tuesday May 16th, 2017.
