Frequently Asked Questions about Purple Pass
What is Purple Pass?
You can now take advantage of using your WSU Warrior ID like an internal debit card for products and service on Campus. Just deposit money on your card to start using it to purchase products and services. It’s your own declining balance fund of money. You never lose this money and there are no fees to participate in Purple Pass. Your funds stay with you as long as you are a Student, Faculty or Staff Member of WSU. However, you cannot withdraw money from this fund. You can request a Refund, if leaving school or employment. You can eat, drink, snack, make copies, purchase merchandise at the Bookstore, request Media and Library services and purchase prescription and over the counter items at our new Winona health pharmacy on campus with your card. It’s simple and easy to use with the convenience of not having to carry cash with you.

What’s the difference between Purple Pass and Kryzsko Kash?
Kryzsko Kash is a fund of money that you automatically receive when you sign up for a meal plan. It is only good for that semester and will not transfer over to the next semester. Once it is gone, you cannot put money back on it. Purple Pass is your money and will transfer over semester to semester, year to year. You can reload your Purple Pass account whenever you prefer. Kryzsko Kash can be used at the Dining Service locations listed. Purple Pass can be used at any of the Dining Service locations, the Bookstore, the Library, making copies and for discounts and promotions.
