SUPERVISOR RICHTER LED EVERYONE IN THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO SALUTE THE FLAG.

SUPERVISOR RICHTER TOOK A MOMENT TO CONVEY THAT ONE OF THE TOWN HIGHWAY WORKERS HAS RECENTLY PASSED AWAY DUE TO AN UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT. EQUIPMENT OPERATOR DENNIS (DENNY) MOORE HAD BEEN A VALUED EMPLOYEE SINCE 1993 AND WILL BE MISSED.
ON A MOTION BY LOPER AND SECONDED BY BERNATAVITZ THE MINUTES OF THE SEPTEMBER 10, 2014 MEETING WERE ACCEPTED.

1. DENNIS BROWN, WILAWANNA ROAD-HE WANTS THE BUDGET MEETING ADVERTISED SO MORE TOWNSFOLK WILL ATTEND. RICHTER ADVISED THAT THE MEETING WAS LISTED IN THE NEWSPAPER, BUT BROWN SAYS NO ONE ON HIS ROAD GETS THE PAPER AND THAT IT SHOULD BE LISTED ON THE TOWN WEBSITE.

WHEREAS, THE TOWN OF CHEMUNG HAS REQUESTED AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH FISHER ASSOCIATES FOR ITS PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES RELATIVE TO THE CHEMUNG SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT IN THE TOWN OF CHEMUNG AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $68,000.00 AND
WHEREAS, THE PROJECT HAS BEEN APPROVED TO RECEIVE NYSDOT FUNDING THROUGH ITS TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $600,000.00 (TEP PIN 6754.83); AND
WHEREAS, THE SCOPE AND ASSOCIATED HOURS ARE HEREIN ATTACHED;
RESOLVED, THAT THE CHEMUNG TOWN SUPERVISOR IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH FISHER FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES RELATIVE TO THE PROJECT AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $68,000.00; AND, BE IT FURTHER;
RESOLVED, THAT THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE IN SUCH FORM AND CONTAIN SUCH TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS APPROVED BY THE COUNTY ATTORNEY; AND, BE IT FURTHER
