Prelim Entries

All entrants for the Combined Training must pay a prelim entry of £28 per teamand £9 per individual to British Riding Clubs at least 21 clear days before the date of the qualifier. Prelim entry forms can be found on the BRC website for postal entries or online entries can be made via the BHS bookshop Late prelim entries may be accepted with a late surcharge of £20 per team and £10 per individual or pair at the discretion of the organiser if sufficient places are available. Late entries cannot be guaranteed and must not be paid for without consulting the organiser first.

If the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason, the close of prelim entry will remain. However, if the qualifier is moved more than 21 days later, entries will be re-opened but late entry fees cannot be refunded. Eligibility will be considered from the original close of prelim entry.

One dressage test for prelim will be on grass and on surface and similarly for novice – for teams please specify who is to ride on grass. SJ and all warm up will be on surface.

One helper must be provided for each team entered. Please provide details of helper with entry including email and contact number and also level of experience or preferred roles.

Tack and Dress Rules

All hats must have a visible orange BRC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing. There will be a trained steward available on the day of the competition who can tag you hat for you if it does not already have one.

Please make sure you adhere to tack and dress rules found in the current version of the BRC rules. The full 2016 version is available to download online.

Equine Influenza

Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Rulebook. There is also a checking device on the BRC website or if you would like further clarification, please call BRC and speak to one of the team 02476 840518.

Please note that all and any children remain the responsibility of their parents and/or guardians at all times and no responsibility is accepted by the organizers.

Any change of horse or rider must be notified to the Secretary at least 15 minutes before the start of the class

There must be no mucking out of trailers or lorries onto the ground. All muck and loose hay / bedding must be gathered up and taken home.

Dogs must be kept on short leads at all times.

Horses must only be exercised in the designated warm up areas.

The Organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions all officials, stewards and organisers. Any accident, however small must be reported and recorded at the Secretary’s office.

Directions to Rosehill

There will be a one way system that must be used and will be signed

From the M4, M40 and A4 - follow the A404(M) and then the A4130 towards Henley, passing through the village called Hurley. You will shortly pass a pub on your right named The Black Boy. Continue past the turning to left to Rosehill and along the A4130 until a turning on the left is reached signposted to Cockpole Green. Take this left turning and then follow the directions as shown on the map.

From Henley follow the A4130 towards Maidenhead. At the top of the hill take the right turn towards Cockpole Green and follow the map
