The undercarriage shall come equipped with Caron Solid Waste Track shoes, or CAT “extreme service” Shoes or CAT “Chopper” Shoes or equivalent. The track shoes must be designed to provide increased demolition and compaction in landfill applications as specified. Each shoe must feature a center trapezoidal relief hole and two opposing horizontal grousers with expanded grouser/shoe face radius to improve self cleaning ability and maintain traction on cohesive materials. The bidder shall specify make, model, warranty and design of shoes to be used and include all warranty information.
Note: CAT “Chopper”, Caron Solid Waste Track Shoes or equivalent must be warranted for wear life for a minimum of 6,650 hours.
