Dear TBS Campers and Parents,

I’d like to introduce myself, Danielle Gould, as the coordinator for this year’s TBS Summer Camp. I have been teaching Second Grade at The Basilica School since 2001. I am the sponsor for Green Team, the afterschool environmental club. In addition, I have experience teaching art to children in PK3-8th grade. I am excited to be working this summer with all these age groups in this capacity.

The campers will be divided into two main groups. The first group is for children entering PK3, PK4 and Kindergarten, AKA the “Minnows”. The second group is for children entering First Grade and higher, AKA the “Sharks”. Campers involved with Athletic Camps will join the Sharks at the end of their session. Otherwise they should be picked up promptly.

All campers will follow the same camp schedule with the exception of field trips. Children entering Kindergarten and up will be invited to attend most field trips. Any campers staying back from the field trips will continue to follow the schedule of planned activities.

You can drop off your camper through the front gate at 700 Truman Ave. Minnows will gather in the kindergarten wing while sharks congregate in the library. You can find your child by checking the “locate my Child” bulletin boardafter 8:30 at any time during the day (drop-off or pick-up). It is located near the front office.

If your child’s camp group is on a field trip, you can drop your child off with the other camp group. There will always be a staff person who remains at the camp. Also, you can stop in the office if you have any questions.

Week 1: (Sandwiches) All American (turkey, turkey-ham, bologna & American cheese), grilled chicken patty, bologna (turkey) & cheese, PB&J, and turkey & American cheese.

Week 2: (Sandwiches) Club (turkey,turkey-ham & American cheese), PB&J, turkey & Swiss cheese, grilled chicken patty, turkey & provolone.

Important Things to Remember…

  • Lunch is free! It includesa sandwich, snack & drink.
  • Check the “Locate my Child” bulletin board near the front office when you arrive to drop off or pick up your child.
  • Minnows meet in the Kindergarten room.
  • Sharks meet in the library.
  • Campers attend field trips based on age and the discretion of the TBS Camp staff.
